Original abstract painting, mixed media with acrylics. This piece began as a larger image but was pared down as Bob found the contrast between the dark and light intriguing. He has applied acrylic paint with a variety of tools, including cardboard, to create an image where the light is leaning in to capture the dark.

About
Bob Hogue began his artist's career later in life. He's learned from and been influenced by his artist mentors in developing his own creative style. He continually explores new techniques, art mediums, and experiments with mixed media in his original images.
