Marie Lavallee

   Marie has always been an artist at heart. Beginning in high school, she supplemented classes by attending a painting academy at night, where she learned to see beyond colors and shapes.

   In college, she graduated with a Goldsmith degree and went on to a designing career in the jewelry industry.  After leaving the jewelry world, Marie resurrected her paint brushes and poured her talent, time and energy into her artwork.  She's now a full-time artist!

   Metal is an intrinsic aspect of her work, illustrated by her artful incorporation of gold or copper leafing and metal objects into her 2D mixed media artworks.
