Original abstract mixed media, acrylic painting. This painting was the result of a challenge to use only three colors: blue, green and yellow. The different shades and layering provides the feel of an unlimited palette. The added texture of applied handmade papers adds dimension to the piece.

Bob Hogue began his artist's career later in life. He's learned from and been influenced by his artist mentors in developing his own creative style. He continually explores new techniques, art mediums, and experiments with mixed media in his original images.
