Collection: Kacie Lyn Martinez

Kacie Lyn Martinez is an artist whose visual art practice is a continual act of homecoming. Her multimedia landscapes seek to chart her own internal emotional and psychological geographies. In addition to visual art, she has a public art practice which has engaged thousands and been funded by organizations such as Asana, Inc., The Other Art Fair, and The California Arts Council. She’s taught intuitive creativity to professionals at Sony Pictures, as well as women’s shelters and LGBTQ organizations.

Kacie is a self-taught artist with Tejana roots. Like many first generation college students, she was barred from investing in her creative interests. She holds “practical” advanced degrees from Wellesley College and the London School of Economics. Kacie’s creativity is enhanced by her other interests as an avid cyclist, surfer, and meanderer.
