Description

   The best gifts are the ones that come out of nowhere, like flowers for no reason, like good moods, like sunlight sneaking in when you least expect it.

   This painting evolved in unexpected ways too, beginning with a layer of spray paint, then transforming through layers of acrylic and oil pastel. Eventually, Rachel cut it apart and reassembled it as a collage, where it finally found its home on this plaid tablecloth.
