   Bob enjoys experimenting with process and materials. This piece, along with its companion, 'Art Echo,' was created through monoprinting, a technique that layers textured objects and color between two sheets of heavy paper before running them through a press.

   The results can be unpredictable, with success depending on a thoughtful color palette, where Bob excels. His discerning eye for color brings this work vividly to life.

Bob Hogue is a self-taught artist who approaches each painting as an open-ended experiment, letting process and intuition guide the outcome. Drawn to abstraction, he uses a variety of tools and techniques to unlock imagination and give form to unexpected ideas.
