    Artist Bob Hogue has created a dynamic collage of stripes, warm tones, and textured forms. He delights in mixing colors, shapes, and textures, drawing from a trove of art papers he has collected over the years.

    What began with black-and-white tones found lively pops of color, while the striking contrast emerged as a happy accident.

Bob Hogue is a self taught artist, having discovered painting after retiring from a long career in business. He approaches each piece as an open-ended experiment, letting the work guide him to its natural conclusion. Drawn to abstraction, Bob embraces a wide range of tools and techniques, using them to unlock his imagination and give shape to unexpected ideas.
