Description

  We aren't sure why this pelican goes by Pete, but that's the beauty of Shaney Watter's depictions of creatures of nature. They have personalities in the way they are shaped, the position of their eyes, the hues that she chooses as she paints. "Pete" is one of five miniature paintings contributed by Shaney for our "Gift Art for the Holidays" collection available now through the end of the year. 

Mixed media: oil, acyclic, pencil and gold leaf on small wood panel. The hanger is made of recycled sari material.
