Did you know that a Koala is a marsupial, not a bear. But by either name, Koalas are adorably cute. 

This miniature painting of a Koala is one of five new pieces provided by Shaney Watters for our "Gift Art For The Holidays" exhibit. In her traditionally spectacular way, she compliments her subject with gold leaf which glimmers and shines. 

Mixed media: oil, acyclic, pencil and gold leaf on small wood panel. The hanger is made of recycled sari material.
